Welcome to our website!

Divine Mercy JNS is a co-educational, Catholic, Junior National School under the Patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin in the Parish of Lucan South. Our school was founded in 1985 (formerly known as Archbishop Ryan N.S.) and has continued to grow and develop to meet the educational needs of a dynamic, diverse and developing community. 


For almost 40 years we have been at the heart of this community providing an inclusive, child-centered learning environment where pupils are encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential and become lifelong learners  This is achieved through the hard work and enthusiasm of a dedicated staff with the support of our parent body and Board of Management.

There was great excitement in 1st class today when Mams and Dads, Grannies and Grandads, Sisters and Brothers, Aunties and Uncles all turned up to help us make some lovely Christmas Cards. There was a great atmosphere and lots of fun and chat. Thanks

Parents/guardians yoga continues tomorrow from 12-1 in the Senior School hall followed by tea/coffee and a chat. If anyone wants to come along for the next 4 weeks we still have a few spots available. So far, these classes have been a great success.

2nd Class made a fantastic effort with their projects on Animal Habitats, the effort, talent and time put in was amazing and the children were so excited and proud of their work. Thanks to all the parents who helped at home. You are all amazing. 😃😃😃
